Terms of use
Registration agreements
You consent to your Elo rating and Fair Play score being displayed publicly with your username. You agree not to cheat or attempt to tamper with the game, its data or its operation to gain an advantage. Any verified attempt will result in account deactivation.
Fair play
External assistance to select moves during rated games, abusive automation and harassment are prohibited. An isolated technical signal or report is not, by itself, proof of misconduct.
Accounts and results
You are responsible for your password and recovery code. The server is authoritative for online moves, clocks and results. Results may be corrected following an incident or moderation decision.
Availability
Maintenance, security or technical incidents may interrupt the service. No matchmaking time is guaranteed.
Possible publication
I agree that, if cheating is established after review, my username and the decision to deactivate my account may be made public.

Stockfish.js is a separate, unmodified third-party program used for post-game analysis. Its GPLv3 license and exact sources are available in Analysis → Export. These terms do not restrict rights granted by that license.
